Becoming a member of Landcare Broken Hill is easy to do, and with the many benefits that come with joining our wonderful organisation, why wouldn't you become a member?



Landcare Broken Hill memberships are renewed from 1st July annually.
Become a local Landcare member to:

hear the local Landcare news first!

be emailed or mailed a Landcare Broken Hill Newsletter each month

assist with environmental community projects around Broken Hill with a fun bunch of volunteers

be covered by Public Liability Insurance while visiting or volunteering at the Imperial Lakes Nature Park for the next 12 months
-
learn how to grow plants in your home (Backyard Bush Nursery BBN) and help to increase stock of indigenous plants for LBH's Greening the Hill Mk2 projects
-
receive training on how to collect seeds for propagation and replanting

volunteer at our Centre for Community garden site where you'll gain knowledge about propagating, planting, weeding, compost making and much more...

attend public forums to discuss projects and new ideas with our Honorary President, environmental lawyer, Simon Molesworth AO KC and other guest speakers

receive education on recycling, re-using materials, composting and many other money-saving ideas
-
develop connections and form friendships with good-hearted, like-minded people who enjoy nature

continue the legacy of the Greening the Hill Mark 2 initiative that began in the 1930's by passionate locals who were proud of this community
