Landcare Broken Hill Membership Terms and Conditions

Membership Application: In accordance with the Constitution of Landcare Broken Hill, each membership application must be proposed and seconded by current members of Landcare. Upon receiving an application, the Landcare Committee will ensure that a proposer and seconder endorse the application, thereby fulfilling the requirements set out in the Constitution.

Membership Benefits: Membership of Landcare Broken Hill includes access to Imperial Lakes Nature Park, where members can enjoy the park's natural beauty and participate in various activities hosted within the park.

Additional Benefits: As a member, you also have the opportunity to join and participate in the activities of our internal club, the Barrier Field Naturalists Club (BFNC). If you have an interest in bushwalking, field trips, natural history study groups, or simply enjoying leisurely strolls through our stunning Outback environment, the BFNC offers activities that cater to these interests.

Terms and Conditions for Imperial Lakes Nature Park (ILNP) LGBTQI++ Garden Founder

Eligibility: By purchasing a space on the founder plaque, you confirm that the name you provide is accurate and suitable for public display. Landcare Broken Hill reserves the right to reject any name deemed inappropriate or offensive.

Payment: The fee for placing a name on the founder plaque is $99. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.

Plaque Details: The plaque will feature up to 100 names, each uniformly engraved. No additional customisation or alterations will be permitted once the name is submitted and approved.

Installation: The founder plaque will be installed in the LGBTIQA+ Garden area of Imperial Lakes Nature Park upon the garden's completion. The timeline for installation may vary depending on project progress and other unforeseen factors.

Placement and Grouping: The arrangement of names on the plaque will be determined by Landcare Broken Hill. Requests for specific positioning or groupings of names cannot be guaranteed.

Maintenance: Landcare Broken Hill will maintain the plaque and its surrounding area as part of the park's regular upkeep. However, we are not responsible for damage caused by weather, vandalism, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Non-Transferable: The purchase of a name on the plaque is non-transferable. Once the name is engraved, it cannot be altered or transferred to another individual.

Use of Funds: All funds raised from the sale of spaces on the plaque will be used to support the development and maintenance of the LGBTIQA+ Garden and conservation of Imperial Lakes Nature Park.

Termination of Agreement: Landcare Broken Hill reserves the right to terminate this agreement and refund the purchase price if the project is cancelled or if the purchaser violates these terms and conditions.

Acceptance of Terms: By purchasing a space on the founder plaque, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
